Precedence is an artist out of Upstate NY in the realm of Melodic Rap that blurs the lines of genre to create a unique perspective on production and songwriting. With influences in the space of Hip hop such as Drake, Mac Miller, J-Cole etc, he combines his love for simplistic Boom bap with a more funk driven lively feel influenced by artists such as Anderson Paak, Abhi the Nomad, and also more of Mac Millers later work.
